Of all the Arabian Horses in the World only a little over three percent are Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa or other documented pure Desert Bred horses. Of these, only about eight percent are of the Kuhaylan Jellabi strain and few of those are pure-in-strain (have both parents of the same strain).

To put that into numbers, according to the Manual of Straight Egyptian Horses by Martha Murdoch and published by the Pyramid Society:

*As of the end of 1999, the U.S. totals (living and deceased) for Straight Egyptian, Kuhaylah Jellabi Horses are as follows:

Mares-941
Stallions-579
Geldings-206
Total-1726

There have been a total of 85 new Kuhaylan Jellabi registrations since the 1999 Supplement update.
